I have heard different narratives from several reliable sources on both benefits and cautions of performing Ucchistha Ganapati mantra sadhana. In an article, Guruji Amritananda Natha Saraswathi of Devipuram mentions " Sadhana of Ucchishṭa Gaṇapati is very powerful but a razor's edge..."
So I am really puzzled and perplexed by these views.
My request to senior Ucchistha Ganapati sadhakas for any guidance you can kindly provide:
a) What are the pre-requisite credentials (behaviours, mindsets, qualifications) for UG mantra sadhana?
b) What should we watch out for OR take appropriate precautions?
c) Any best practices for ensuring successful japa?
