The relationship between 4 sandya and 4 Navaratri

I read about it in book Rudra-yamala, lekhak Rudradev Tripathi. It says the following links:
Pratah kala - related with Chaitra Navaratri.
Madhya kala - Ashadhi Navaratri.
Sayan kala - Ashvan Navaratri.
Madhya-ratri kala - Magha Navaratri.
However, it does not say in detail why there is such a relation. Maybe I misunderstood something?
Someone heard of such a relationship?
